A relaxing, off-the-grid countryside getaway for couples, families or groups, Woodland Escape provides off-grid luxury glamping located in an idyllic young wood in the heart of the Somerset countryside.
Their off-grid Bell Tents are the classic way to spend a Glamping break, and their off-grid Stargazer Yurts, the first of their kind in the UK are impressive from the outside and spacious yet cosy on the inside. Plus best of all these yurts have see through central roof lights so you can look up at the stars at night.
All of their off-grid accommodation comes complete with Turkish-style rugs, a double bed, single beds, solar light/charger, a hamper containing cutlery, crockery and essential cooking items, a trunk for clothes storage and a cool box. Outside every accommodation there is a fire pit, a barbecue and a two-burner gas hob for you to cook delicious meals upon during your stay at Woodland Escape.
Woodland Escape encourages guests to use their time here as an opportunity for “digital detox” – a time to switch off the constantly-ringing/flashing/beeping devices that we so often find stuck to our palms and get back to a more natural way of living, in harmony with the surrounding wildlife and nature.
Woodland Escape are proud to be one of few sites across the UK dedicated to providing sustainable, environmentally-friendly luxury holidays – a combination that coined the phrase “Eco-Glamping”. Whilst Woodland Escape is off-the-grid, we know that our discerning customers do not wish to forego hot showers and real toilets. For this reason we have ensured that Woodland Escape is equipped with hot running showers and flushing toilets.
All of our accommodation now also comes with bottled water on arrival and a breakfast hamper in your tent or Yurt.
