We are situated in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons, Ty Croeso Bed and Breakfast is set high on the hillside above the Monmouth and Brecon Canal just half-a-mile from the charming town of Crickhowell. Ty Croeso (pronounced Tee Croy-so) means ‘House of Welcome’ in Welsh and we look forward to welcoming you to our home and hope you enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of Wales.
Our house offers a luxurious choice of four guest rooms and wonderful views over the Usk Valley towards the Black Mountains. We are set half a mile from Crickhowell and within easy reach of the amenities and attractions in Abergavenny.
The accommodation in our Victorian stone built property has been refurbished to a very high standard and each room offers luxury en suite facilities, Egyptian cotton linen, a flat screen TV with DVD player and a Roberts DAB radio with iPod portal.
Our Master Suite is perfect for extra special breaks and boasts a super king-size bed, separate lounge area with two chairs and a sofa bed, a free-standing bath and separate double shower. Our Junior Suite/ Family Room offers flexible accommodation with a king size bed area and comfortable seating area with sofa bed provided. Our beautiful Superior Double
Room is furnished with a large solid mahogany silver gilded bed and we also offer a Standard Double with cream signature double bed. Ty Croeso started life as the infirmary to the nearby Victorian workhouse, and since then its seen many changes. We have recently given its interior a major revamp to create a relaxed, modern, country vibe & have tried to ensure that the interior is in keeping with the building’s age and history; in the cosy lounge area the exposed stonework is set off by the largely neutral colour schemes with flashes of colour within the soft furnishings, this in an attempt to make this your home from home.
