The cottage has three double bedrooms – all with their own bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. You’ll love its picture perfect thatched roof with restored leaded windows, and feel very much at home in the cottage itself.

Old Maids Cottage also has a charming history. Dating originally from 1765, it was once home to three very pretty young ladies whose story was later celebrated in a poem. They were so choosy about their perspective husbands that they ended up unmarried and known as the Three Old Maids of Lee.

Today the cottage has a light, airy feel; the ground floor has an inter-communicating reception room, dining room and kitchen, which is great for families and well behaved dogs. Outside there is off road parking for 3 cars, and a large garden with lawns and terraces, and a smaller enclosed garden area with outside seating. Some two hundred yards away is The Grampus, a traditional British pub with low beams, great food and a wonderful atmosphere.
