4 Star Gold with Breakfast Award

Some of Britain’s finest walks right from the doorstep! Leave your car and explore the wild fells and sheltered dales of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Croft Gate nestles in the pretty and tranquil valley of Chapel le Dale, between majestic Whernside and the imposing peak of Ingleborough.  Secret pot holes and caves, rare flora and dramatic limestone scenery are just some of the delights to be found from the door step of Croft Gate.

Croft Gate is a tasteful and luxurious conversion of a dales barn and shippon (cow shed). Beamed ceilings, stone cills and large stone fireplaces with log fires all add to the character of this cosy, warm and comfortable retreat.

Home baking, a warm welcome and the height of comfort await our guests.
