The Barn was historically a traditional milking parlour until Caroline got her creative hands on it in 2006. With a budget well and truly blown, Caroline’s vision to create a fun, flexible, eclectic and luxurious space for partying, relaxing and playing has been well and truly achieved. Big Barn is quirky and very welcoming; the elegant interior with its combination of oak beams, wide oak floor boards, antiques and old stone walls all blend perfectly with minimalist oak staircases and simple modern furnishings. The styling of the 5 bedrooms is truly unique, ranging from sleek modernism to sumptuous vintage beds: expansive and luxurious, cool whites with zany curlicued wallpapers. Big Barn has an abundance of facilities to keep you entertained including a state of the art music system, a huge wide screen television, a family DVD selection and much more. There is also the infamous games room, just across the drive where you will find a pool table, table tennis set, boules, darts board and a piano. The mown meadow around Big Barn is perfect for ball games and running wild, there is a swing set, seesaw and ride on toys for younger children to play with. Alternatively you can walk for miles in wonderful private, un spoilt rolling countryside where you will find magical medieval woods with exciting nooks and crannies to explore.
