Our eco-friendly Guesthouse CHYMORGEN  is close to the rugged Atlantic Coastline of Cornwall on the West Penwith Peninsula, situated near the village of Botallack, close to the town of ST Just and within a short distance of Cape Cornwall. The spacious villa was built early last century. It is surrounded by gardens and pasture land, protected by old granite walls and windbreak hedges.

Much of its original charm has been preserved during the renovation and lovingly restored to detail: The large hall with the impressive oak staircase and a large Anglo-German Library, the wood-panelled lounge with open fireplace and a conservatory are luxurious features of the house.
All rooms are individually decorated, bright and friendly.
There is a bathroom, a shower room and two toilets.

We provide hand- and bath towels and bathrobes as well as the usual tea facilities  for preparing hot beverages - this includes a selection of teas (black tea, green teas, herbal teas and Roibush …) and coffee. Hot water bottles, hair dryer and a lots of other extras (such as sun loungers, yoga mats, rubber boots, etc.) are available on request.

ORGANIC BREAKFAST FOR GOURMETS: We are preparing a varied breakfast buffet where you’ll find a selection of cereals, cheeses, fish, meats, eggs, fresh vegetables, jams, honey, and also a wide range of vegetarian and on request vegan dishes. There are also our homemade breads, and always freshly prepared delicious spreads.  We use mainly organic ingredients and products from the region. We only provide a cooked “English Breakfast” on special request and at additional cost.
Our drinking water is of exceptional quality and comes from our own well.

CHYMORGEN provides the ideal setting for walkers and nature enthusiasts – the Costal Path along the rugged cliffs is only ten minutes walking distance away. Discover the ancient monuments – stone circles, dolmens and the enigmatic healing stone Men-an-Tol.
There is also the possibility of having massage and reflexology treatments in the house by a qualified an insured holistic practitioner.

Our pedigree rare breed pigs live the best possible life we can give them in our ancient oak woodland, and they provide the tasty farm produced sausages and bacon. We can also provide delicious vegetarian alternatives, as well as special provisions for those with other dietary requirements.(do please let us know in advance if you have any special requests) As far as possible we source as much of our fruit and vegetables from our own farm, or guarantee to use quality local suppliers if this is not possible.

Breakfast is normally served between 8:00am and 9:30am. If you would like an early departure just please let us know ! we are very flexible.

Come float on our boat!  We offer self catering accommodation for women only or lesbian groups on board our 33 foot motor cruiser which can sleep up to 6 adults (4 would be more comfortable, 2’s fine for a more romantic stay!).

You’ll be berthed in the tranquil waters of the picturesque fishing village of Tarbert Loch Fyne, on the Mull of Kintyre. The boat is fitted with everything you’ll need to enjoy a long or short break on board, including TV / DVD galley, heads (toilet and wash hand basin) – free showers are available on shore.

Children and pet friendly.

You can eat on board, enjoying the gentle lapping of the waters in the sheltered harbour, or in one of the many cafes and cosy restaurants in the village.  You will be able to enjoy the delights of the Kintyre Trail as well as numerous other walks and activities in the area.

We don’t arrange sailing holidays just yet, but we can arrange day trips on request.
